Tashka is a Central Australia–born creative leader, mentor, and producer with over 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of music, community development, cultural empowerment, and artist wellbeing.
As a core member of the Xpress Indigenous Music Mentorship Program, Tashka supports emerging First Nations artists to develop their creative voice, professional pathways, and confidence within the music industry. Her work centres on mentorship-led development, helping artists move from potential to performance-ready—while ensuring cultural safety, sustainability, and long-term career thinking remain front and centre.
With a multidisciplinary background spanning performing arts, songwriting, music production, film score, digital media, marketing, training & education, and community-led program design, Tashka brings both creative and strategic depth to the Xpress program. She is particularly passionate about supporting artists to build strong foundations in artistry, self-belief, professional skills, and industry readiness, while honouring story, culture, and place.
